Terms of Use


  1. You acknowledge and agree that:

    1. Just Massage is a booking service allowing clients to book mobile massage services to their home, office, or hotel.

    2. All therapists available to book via Just Massage are independent contractors and are not employees of Just Massage. Just Massage does not provide massage services in any capacity.

    3. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Just Massage booking service. By booking a treatment you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

    4. We only provide a booking service for massage services and do not provide massage services in any capacity.

    5. All therapists available to book through us are self-employed independent contractors.

    6. We are not the agent for any therapists available to book through us.

    7. We are not party to any interaction between you and the therapist or to the therapists terms of use except to the extent required to collect personal booking information and payment from you on behalf of the therapist.

    8. We may, at our full discretion, offer to provide assistance in resolving any disputes that may arise. However, we shall not be held responsible for the outcome or resolution of any dispute.

    9. We may, at any time, make adjustments or updates to these terms and conditions without notice to you and by continuing to make use of our services you agree that you will be bound by the most recent version of these terms and conditions.

    10. These terms and conditions apply from the moment you begin using the Just Massage website or other booking services offered by us and continue for the duration of the use of these services.


Booking & Payment


  1. You may make a booking for services using any of these methods:

    1. Making a booking through our website www.justmassage.co.nz

    2. Emailing hello@justmassage.co.nz

  2. Where a booking request is made via email you will be given the option of receiving a payment link via email or providing your credit or debit card details to us over the phone.

  3. Where a booking is made via our website or email, you will receive booking confirmation and a payment receipt via email.

  4. We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time without notice and process a refund of the original treatment charge to you within two business days.

  5. You are not permitted to engage or make a booking directly with a therapist at any time.

  6. Should you provide inaccurate, incomplete or fraudulent information to use in making a booking, your booking may be cancelled immediately with no refund entitlement.

  7. We reserve the right to add, change, or remove booking options/functions from our website or other booking options at anytime without notice.


Payment


  1. You must provide a valid credit or debit card to make a booking.

  2. Your credit or debit card will be charged once we are able to confirm your booking.

  3. By making a booking you give Just Massage permission to store your credit or debit card details for the purpose of making charges for services.

  4. Where you choose to pay for your treatment in instalments you give permission to Just Massage to charge your debit or credit card in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.

  5. All payments for services must be made to us. You are not permitted to make a payment for any services directly to a therapist at any time.

  6. The treatment charge is the standard charge specified for the requested treatment minus any applicable discounts.

  7. You must ensure there are sufficient funds in your account to cover the treatment charge. Any charges or fees for insufficient funds in your account will be passed on to  you.

  8. You may request a copy of a payment receipt from us at any time within three months of a completed transaction. An admin fee may be charged for this service at our discretion.

  9. We will take all reasonable and practicable steps to ensure the security of your payment information but assumes no legal responsibility for any loss should a third party gain unauthorised access to this information.

  10. Where you are entitled to a refund, we will process this within two business days.


Changes & Cancellations


  1. You are permitted to amend or cancel a booking with a full refund and no penalty fees where the cancellation is made:

    1. At least 24 hours before the treatment time; or

    2. Within 30 minutes of the booking being confirmed, but not within 3 hours of the treatment time.

  2. You will be charged a 50% cancellation fee where your amendment or cancellation is made:

    1. Less than 24 hours, but not within 3 hours of the treatment time.

    2. Not within 30 minutes of the booking being confirmed, but not within 3 hours of the treatment time.

  3. You will not be entitled to a refund where your amendment or cancellation is made within 3 hours of the treatment time.

  4. We may, from time to time, be required to cancel a booking without notice. Where a booking is cancelled by us, you will entitled to a refund in full refund of the treatment charge.


Quality of Service


  1. We make no representation or guarantee as to any of the following:

    1. The quality and safety of the massage provided by a therapist;

    2. The quality and safety of any equipment, product, or supplies used by a therapist during a massage.

  2. We make no guarantee as to the qualifications held by a therapist.

  3. All massage services available to book with us are strictly therapeutic and not sexual in nature. Any inappropriate comments or actions made by you at any time will be reported as sexual harassment to the appropriate authority.

  4. We reserve the right to withdraw the booking availability of a therapist at any time.


Dispute Resolution


  1. At our full discretion, we may, from time to time, offer to act in mediation of a dispute that may arise between you and a therapist. You acknowledge and agree that:

    1. We are not party to any dispute;

    2. We are not obliged to become involved in any dispute;

    3. We assume no legal responsibility for any outcome or resolution of a dispute;

    4. We may withdraw our involvement in a dispute at any time without notice;

    5. You will be solely responsible for any legal fees we incur relating to a dispute.


Privacy


  1. We will collect personal and payment details from you in order to process you booking for massage services.

  2. You acknowledge and agree that this data may be used by us, collated with the data from other users, and analysed by us for the sole purpose of improving our service offering.

  3. You personal details will be shared with the therapist providing your massage service.

  4. We will never share you personal details with any third party, other than your massage therapist, except where there is an involuntary, unavoidable, legal obligation on us to do so.

  5. Your payment details will never be shared with any third party.



Promotions


  1. We may create and offer promotional or discount access codes that may be redeemed against the price of booked services.

  2. Promotional or discount codes will be valid for a specific period of time after which they will no longer be valid and cannot be used.

  3. We reserve the right to extend the period of promotional or discount codes at any time without notice.

  4. Promotional or discounts codes hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  5. All terms and conditions relating to individual promotional or discount codes apply.
