Service Etiquette

All Just Massage treatments are strictly therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.

Any inappropriate comments or actions made by you at any time will be reported as sexual harassment to the appropriate authority.

Before your Treatment

We recommend having two large towels ready prior to the arrival of your therapist - one to cover the table and the other to cover you.

Ensure you have enough available floor space for your therapist to set up their table (they’ll need an area around 2.3m by 0.8m including working space).

When your Therapist Arrives

Ensure you are ready for your treatment when your therapist arrives to minimise setup time.

If your therapist happens to be running a late, a member of our customer service team will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Allow your therapist to setup, then leave the room while you get undressed and lay on the table. You may wear as much or as little clothing as you feel comfortable wearing. Please note: You are required to keep your underwear on at all times.

During your Session

Your therapist will perform a short consultation to help them tailor your treatment to you. Be sure to let them know if you have any injuries or allergies they need to be aware of and if you have any particular areas of your body you’d like them to focus on.

If you become uncomfortable or are in unexpected pain (i.e. Pain not expected with your type of massage) you should let your therapist know immediately.

After your Session

Your therapist will leave the room again to give you time to get up and dressed. They may ask you a few final questions to add to your notes so that your next treatment consultation will be much shorter.

Your therapist will then pack up and leave you to continue your day.

You will receive an email giving you the opportunity to provide feedback on your treatment experience. You can also send us your feedback at hello@justmassage.co.nz
